CHORALP: 10 years already!
The entire world choral meeting in the heart of the Southern Alps.
A unique week for singers and choirs to gather around two exceptional workshops:
Workshop 1
Oratorio for narrator, soloists, chorus and orchestra – directed by Valérie FAYET (FR)
Workshop 2
Directed by Jan SCHUMACHER (DE) **
** The direction of this workshop, initially planned with Marie-Claude Remy, unavailable, has been given to Jan Schumacher, musical director of the University of Frankfurt-am-Main (Germany), conductor of the Camerata Musica Limburg **
A clinic choir that has worked the piece takes part in each workshop so as to facilitate group learning.
We offer participating choirs to perform one or two evening concerts with their own repertoire.
Accommodation (optional) in a comfortable residence is close to the rehearsal places.
Briançon, the confluence of 5 valleys surrounded by high peaks, it is already Provence and its azure sky.
CHORALP: one goes, and one returns.
